Job Overview:
As an IT Business Analyst – UAT and Reporting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in our IT and business operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless execution of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, utilizing your technical skills in tools like Power BI, JIRA, and ALM. Additionally, your expertise in data analysis, reporting, and effective communication will contribute to the development of vital business intelligence insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes, ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of testing activities.
Utilize technical skills in Power BI, JIRA, and ALM to create insightful reports and dashboards that provide critical business intelligence.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into technical solutions.
Serve as a bridge between IT and business teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain a deep understanding of business processes, workflows, and systems to identify opportunities for improvement.
Train and support team members and end-users on new tools, processes, and systems.
Demonstrate flexibility to work on-site in Chicago when required, as well as participate in remote collaboration.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
7-10 years of proven experience as an IT Business Analyst, with a focus on User Acceptance Testing and Reporting.
Proficiency in Power BI, JIRA, and ALM for creating reports, tracking defects, and managing testing processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
