Project Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled IT Product Manager V to join the program, driving product strategy and delivery for critical Supply Chain Digital Technology initiatives. This position will lead the definition and execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmap to support the modernization of Tech Ops Supply Chain ecosystem.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical expertise, the ability to communicate effectively with business and development stakeholders, and a proven record of translating complex requirements into clear user stories that drive successful outcomes. This role is inherently cross-functional and requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution.
Key Responsibilities
Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Tech Ops Supply Chain digital initiatives within the Jet Program.
Collaborate with business partners, developers, and architects to translate business needs into actionable BRDs and user stories.
Conduct data analysis and business research to identify opportunities, pain points, and areas for process optimization.
Partner closely with architecture and engineering teams to inform technical design and data integration strategies.
Communicate program progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to leadership and stakeholders.
Facilitate requirement sessions, document decisions, and ensure clarity for development teams.
Deliver consistent, measurable outcomes by managing competing priorities and timelines across multiple workstreams.
Prepare and present executive-level updates and presentations, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical execution.
Partner with UX, business, and technology teams to ensure product adoption and readiness.
Stay current on emerging technologies, particularly within cloud, supply chain, and digital transformation domains.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7–10+ years of progressive experience in product management, preferably within enterprise technology or digital transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting BRDs, writing user stories, and defining functional requirements.
Strong technical acumen, with ability to engage in architectural discussions, data mapping, and system integration design.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and present to senior executives.
Proven success managing products through the full lifecycle—from concept to launch and sustainment.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and drive results in a complex, matrixed environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
AWS certification or technical cloud expertise.
MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
Project management certification (PMP or PMI-ACP).
5+ years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or industrial distribution.
Experience leading digital transformation or technology modernization efforts.
Work Schedule & Details
Location: Chicago, IL – Remote (onsite for major meetings only)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Travel: Occasional, as needed for key program sessions or workshops
Contract Details
Hourly Rate: $90/hour
Employment Type: W-2
