Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager IV to lead the Cloud Technology Lifecycle Management initiative. This role will oversee cross-functional projects related to cloud adoption, governance, and optimization, ensuring alignment between technology delivery and business objectives.
The ideal candidate is a skilled communicator and motivator who can balance technical understanding with strong leadership and organizational skills. This position is well-suited for a strategic project manager who thrives in dynamic environments, can drive progress across distributed teams, and ensures timely, high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute all phases of cloud technology lifecycle projects, from initiation to closeout.
Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to define project goals, scope, deliverables, and success metrics.
Inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project milestones and deliver high-quality results.
Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Identify and mitigate project risks while proactively addressing dependencies and potential blockers.
Ensure effective communication across stakeholders, providing timely updates on progress, issues, and status reports.
Oversee vendor coordination, procurement, and technology delivery schedules as needed.
Implement and maintain best practices for documentation, change management, and reporting.
Use available data tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Power BI, Excel, Databases) to track performance metrics and support decision-making.
Promote consistency with enterprise IT standards, compliance, and data governance frameworks.
Required Skills & Qualifications
7+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, preferably within cloud infrastructure or enterprise technology environments.
Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, fostering accountability and collaboration.
Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with a focus on quality and stakeholder satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
PMP certification or equivalent project management credential required.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
Working knowledge of ServiceNow, Power BI, Excel, and basic database concepts.
Familiarity with cloud lifecycle management and technology modernization initiatives.
Strong adaptability, attention to detail, and change management experience.
Understanding of IT governance, compliance, and reporting frameworks.
Work Schedule & Details
Location: Hybrid (onsite schedule TBD).
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST.
Travel: None.
Contract Details
Hourly Rate: $90/hour.
Employment Type: W-2
Length: 12-month contract with potential for extension.
