Job Title: Product Manager / Product Owner – Mobile Operations Application
Location: Hybrid (Chicago or Houston)
Bill Rate: $80/hr
Overview:
We are seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to support the development of a mobile application used by frontline agents supporting customer self-service kiosks. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency by enabling real-time notifications and faster issue resolution, replacing manual monitoring processes.
The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, understands both Agile and SDLC methodologies, and is comfortable working across mobile, backend, and operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
Role Summary:
Own the product vision and backlog for a mobile companion application that supports frontline agents. Ensure the initial MVP delivers measurable operational value while defining a scalable roadmap for future enhancements.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business objectives (e.g., reduced wait times, improved agent efficiency) into clear product requirements.
Define and prioritize MVP scope while planning Phase 2+ capabilities.
Own and manage the product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
Partner closely with:
Kiosk and self-service technology teams
Mobile and backend engineering teams
Operations and field stakeholders
Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
Track and report on success metrics such as response time, issue resolution time, and user adoption.
Act as the primary liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner in enterprise or operational environments.
Strong technical aptitude with the ability to work effectively across complex workflows and systems.
Experience defining MVPs, particularly for real-time or event-driven systems.
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and the SDLC.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mobile applications or workforce enablement tools.
Background supporting operational, field, or frontline technology solutions.
Work Environment:
