Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst II to support the Marketing Campaign Operations team in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of marketing data used across digital channels. This position focuses on testing and validating marketing datasets, automating quality checks, and collaborating with cross-functional partners to uphold data standards and compliance.
The ideal candidate is technically skilled in SQL, Python, and test automation, with a strong attention to detail and experience validating large data sets within marketing or analytics environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute test plans, test cases, and data validation procedures to ensure data accuracy and consistency across marketing campaigns.
Write and optimize SQL queries and Python scripts for validation, audience segmentation testing, and data pipeline verification.
Log, track, and manage defects through to resolution while maintaining clear documentation.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and campaign managers to ensure alignment on quality standards.
Automate repetitive validation processes to increase testing efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts for testing methodologies and data governance practices.
Provide detailed QA summaries and test results to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in data quality assurance, preferably within marketing, analytics, or data operations environments.
Hands-on experience with SQL for querying and validating data sets.
Experience writing and executing Python scripts for testing automation and data validation.
Familiarity with QA best practices, defect management tools, and data workflow validation.
Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience testing or validating marketing campaign data across digital and CRM channels.
Knowledge of data visualization tools or ETL processes.
Exposure to Agile or Scrum environments.
Work Schedule & Details
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite per week, typically Tuesday–Thursday)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Contract Details
Hourly Rate: $30/hour
Employment Type: W-2
Length: 1-year contract with strong potential for extension
