Project Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager with a Business Analysis background to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical solutions. This hybrid role will ensure initiatives are strategically aligned, operationally efficient, and successfully executed. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking, project management expertise, and a proactive mindset to drive measurable outcomes across development and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for new initiatives and enhancements.
Develop detailed business requirements, process flows, and user stories to guide development teams.
Manage and track work items in Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring proper prioritization and timely completion.
Create and maintain ADO dashboards to monitor sprint progress, throughput, and release readiness.
Oversee and coordinate release deployments, ensuring collaboration between development, testing, and support teams.
Coordinate project schedules, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams.
Track and manage project budgets, including forecasting, variance analysis, and funding alignment.
Develop and deliver executive-ready reports and presentations highlighting progress, performance, and risk status.
Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful delivery within defined scope and quality standards.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives in coordination with the Scrum Master.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Project Management, Business Analysis, or hybrid PM/BA roles.
Proven success working within Agile or Scrum frameworks.
Strong proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for managing work items, dashboards, and reporting.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and financial tracking.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Familiarity with SDLC and release management processes in enterprise environments.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related STEM field.
Experience working in enterprise-level Agile environments preferred.
Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization/reporting skills a plus.
Work Schedule & Details
Location: Houston, TX preferred; Chicago, IL acceptable
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
Onsite Requirement: Minimum of 2 days per week onsite
