Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Solutions Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of our ERP architecture and roadmap. This role will serve as a key advisor to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring our enterprise applications—especially ERP systems—align with evolving business needs and industry best practices. This is a highly visible role responsible for shaping and delivering ERP modernization, guiding Oracle Cloud transformations, and overseeing integration initiatives with a focus on scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
This is both a leadership and hands-on individual contributor position, reporting directly to the Director of IT Applications.
Key Responsibilities
Lead ERP strategy design and execution to align technical capabilities with business objectives.
Govern ERP architecture design, access controls, technology platforms, and disaster recovery planning.
Collaborate with project management, application development, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver business-enabling solutions.
Define and drive the enterprise architecture future state, including roadmaps and runways for execution.
Develop and present prototypes, reference architectures, and proofs of concept for new technologies.
Analyze current state ERP environments and perform comprehensive gap assessments.
Lead the transition from legacy systems to modern cloud ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle Fusion Cloud).
Oversee integration strategy, including the use of platforms like Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Provide governance and oversight for ERP system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
Continuously evaluate emerging trends such as PaaS, embedded AI, and ERP automation to maintain competitive advantage.
Collaborate on standards development, foster adoption of best practices, and champion innovation across the organization.
Communicate architecture strategies clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
Mentor and guide other IT teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of ERP initiatives.
Required Qualifications
7–10 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or ERP architect role.
Deep expertise in ERP systems, including Oracle ERP and Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, relational databases, and system integration.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting cloud-based ERP architectures.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) or comparable integration platforms.
Proven experience leading large-scale ERP migration or modernization projects.
Ability to define and deliver comprehensive architecture strategies that drive business results.
Demonstrated success managing vendor relationships and cross-functional collaboration.
Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills with executive-level presence.
Strategic planning skills with a sharp ability to convert business needs into actionable technical solutions.
Strong knowledge of project management and Agile methodologies.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Analysis, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Oracle Cloud certification or equivalent credentials.
Experience in financial systems architecture and understanding of budgeting and cost optimization principles.
Advanced understanding of SaaS and PaaS technologies.
Experience fostering continuous improvement cultures and agile transformation in IT organizations.
