Michelle Joseph is the Founder and CEO of PeopleFoundry Inc. Michelle and her organization have developed a unique and successful recruitment model to identify and build organizations’ talent. PeopleFoundry specifically targets technology and digital firms experiencing high-growth periods. Michelle’s main responsibilities as CEO include the strategic development and growth of PeopleFoundry, operational planning and continuously adapting to a national landscape of talent. She regularly partners with founders and CEOs to help expand the human capital of their businesses.
Prior to founding PeopleFoundry Inc, Michelle served as the Chief People Officer for a UK based eSouring business, TradingPartners. Her responsibilities there included aligning management structure with business needs while guiding organizational change, process improvement and conflict resolution on a global basis. Michelle successfully helped strengthen and stabilize corporate expansion by establishing a new senior management team that transitioned the company from a singular to a growth-and-profit focus. She partnered with the CEO on expansion plans for emerging markets including Shanghai, Tokyo and New York.
Michelle holds a BA in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of Dayton. She received her Master’s in Human Resources Management in 2008 from Cornell University while maintaining her full-time Senior Management role with TradingPartners. Michelle is an active member in the community. She supports the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago (formerly Children’s Memorial Hospital), serves as a contributor to the Taproot Foundation, is a member of the Young Executives Club of Chicago, and the Economic Club of Chicago.
