Data Integration Engineer
Position Overview
We are seeking a Healthcare Data Integration Engineer to design, build, and optimize enterprise data integrations, cloud-based pipelines, and analytics infrastructure. This role supports behavioral health services by connecting EHR systems, third-party platforms, and business intelligence tools into a scalable, secure data ecosystem.
This position plays a key role in advancing data-driven decision-making, improving care coordination, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Salary Range
$130,000 – $150,000
Location Requirement
- This is a remote position
- Candidates must reside within New York State
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain secure API integrations between internal systems and external vendors
- Build and optimize scalable data pipelines across data lake and data warehouse environments
- Develop and maintain Qlik scripts, data models, and reporting solutions
- Work with JSON data structures to support integrations and data transformation workflows
- Write and optimize SQL and JavaScript queries for analytics and system performance
- Develop automation workflows using Microsoft Power Automate and Power Fx
- Collaborate with IT, EHR, analytics, and leadership teams to deliver scalable technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security standards
- Troubleshoot integration issues and implement monitoring and performance improvements
- Maintain clear documentation for integrations, data flows, and system architecture

Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in data engineering, API integrations, or related roles
- Strong experience with SQL, JavaScript, and JSON
- Experience with Qlik scripting and data modeling
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Fx)
- Experience working with cloud-based data environments (AWS preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Software Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred
