Technical Project Manager – Revenue Systems (Application Development)
Location: Chicagoland Area (Hybrid: 1–2 days/week on-site)
Position Overview We are seeking an experienced, high-caliber Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a high-visibility, multi-million-dollar application development initiative within our Revenue Systems portfolio.
In this role, you will manage the creation and launch of a brand-new Revenue Management & Pricing platform, steering cross-functional engineering teams and partnering directly with senior leadership to deliver critical technology milestones.
Key Responsibilities

Project Governance & Execution: Lead day-to-day application development activities, establishing work breakdowns, critical paths, milestones, and timelines using Microsoft Project.

Executive Communication & Reporting: Build concise, high-impact PowerPoint presentations for senior executives and working teams; provide regular visibility into project health, status, milestones, and roadmaps.

Financial & Resource Management: Oversee and track a multi-million-dollar project budget, analyzing variances, managing forecasts, and optimizing team capacity.

Risk & Issue Triage: Proactively identify, track, and mitigate project risks, architectural roadblocks, and scope shifts before they impact schedule or budget.

Stakeholder Alignment: Serve as the central communication bridge across Revenue Management, Network Planning, Alliances, Cargo, Sales, and IT engineering partners.
Required Skills & Experience

5+ years of Technical Project Management experience, with an emphasis on custom software/application development.

Expertise in Microsoft Project and MS PowerPoint, with the ability to build and maintain complex schedules and executive-ready decks.

Proven track record managing multi-million-dollar project budgets and resource allocation models.

Demonstrated leadership: Self-directed, able to lead agile/waterfall delivery teams while engaging with VP/C-level stakeholders.

Strong analytical mindset: Experience working with complex business domains (Revenue Management, Pricing, Network Planning, or Enterprise SaaS platforms preferred).
Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

PMP certification or Agile equivalent (CSM, PMI-ACP) is preferred.
