Position Overview
We are seeking a senior Program Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise systems transformation involving the replacement of a decades-old, mission-critical platform. This is a full end-to-end transformation effort focused on building a new system from the ground up rather than incrementally modernizing an existing solution.
The Program Manager will partner closely with architecture and delivery leadership to drive execution across multiple complex workstreams, ensure alignment between technical delivery and business objectives, and communicate progress, risks, and decisions to executive stakeholders. This role requires proven experience leading enterprise-scale transformation programs and strong executive presence.
Program Scope
The transformation effort focuses on customer-facing enterprise capabilities, including:
Frontline operational workflows
End-to-end customer interaction touchpoints
Supporting systems that directly impact the customer journey
The broader platform has been decomposed into multiple functional domains, and this role is responsible for driving delivery and coordination across customer-impacting areas.
Key Responsibilities
Program Leadership & Delivery
Lead an enterprise-scale transformation program, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, and outcomes
Drive execution across multiple complex workstreams in partnership with solution and enterprise architects
Ensure alignment between technical delivery, operational requirements, and business objectives
Executive & Stakeholder Management
Present program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior executive stakeholders
Translate complex technical initiatives into clear business implications and decision points
Build and maintain strong relationships across technology, operations, and business leadership
Transformation Governance
Establish program governance, delivery cadence, and execution discipline for a large, multi-phase transformation
Identify risks early and proactively drive mitigation strategies
Ensure teams are executing against a true system replacement strategy rather than incremental change
Cross-Functional Coordination
Partner with architecture, engineering, product, and operational teams to advance delivery
Align priorities across dependent teams and manage interdependencies
Drive clarity and momentum in ambiguous problem spaces common to large-scale system rebuilds
Required Skills & Qualifications
Core Requirements
Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise transformation programs
Strong background in program management within complex, regulated, or mission-critical environments
Demonstrated ability to present to executive leadership and influence senior decision-makers
Experience partnering closely with architecture leadership to drive delivery
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of experience in program or portfolio management
Demonstrated success leading legacy system replacement initiatives
Strong business acumen with the ability to balance technical, operational, and customer considerations
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to operate effectively in highly ambiguous, high-visibility environments
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience leading large, customer-facing enterprise platform transformations
Background working on full system rebuilds rather than incremental modernization efforts
Experience coordinating complex delivery across multiple technical and business domains
