Job Summary
Lead end-to-end execution of treasury transformation programs and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals, treasury priorities, and expected return on investment. The role combines disciplined program and portfolio management with practical knowledge of treasury operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead treasury transformation programs and projects from initiation through implementation and benefits realization.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, resource requirements, constraints, risks, dependencies, and critical-path activities.
- Use Smartsheet to manage plans, track milestones, monitor risks and issues, and support cross-functional collaboration and transparent status reporting.
- Establish program governance, decision forums, escalation paths, stakeholder engagement plans, and clear accountability for deliverables.
- Proactively manage project activities, resource needs, interdependencies, and implementation readiness across workstreams.
- Partner with Procurement, Finance FP&A, Digital Technology, Accounting, Tax, Legal, Internal Audit, Account Payable, and banking partners, and other business stakeholders to define scope, clarify requirements, resolve issues, and drive decisions.
- Support proofs of concept, pilots, soft launches, testing, deployment, and stabilization activities with stakeholders across functional areas.
- Partner up with other teams to ensure current-state and future-state process mapping, requirements analysis, and process improvement are conducted across treasury activities.
- Coordinate communication, training, procedures, and change readiness activities to support adoption and sustainable business outcomes.
- Monitor project and program performance and provide clear, concise reporting to project teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Ensure portfolio initiatives remain aligned with business priorities, treasury strategy, expected benefits, ROI, and objectives and key results.
- Set priorities, facilitate trade-off decisions, and maintain focus on the highest-value outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Drive modernization of treasury data, reporting, and analytics to improve real-time visibility, decision support, monitoring, and exception management.
- Lead project/program initiatives involving treasury management systems, cash application, reconciliations, and payment transformation as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of program, project, or portfolio management experience, including finance or treasury transformation.
- Demonstrated treasury experience in a corporate, banking, consulting, or financial services environment, with working knowledge of treasury operations and controls.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs, projects, or portfolios valued at $2 million or more.
- Experience in large-scale treasury or finance operations.
- Ability to translate treasury and financial strategy into executable plans, operating processes, controls, and measurable outcomes.
- Strong conflict resolution, active listening, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders and align diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate technical, operational, and financial concepts clearly and concisely.
- Ability to balance strategic perspective with disciplined management of tactical details.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, adaptable, and comfortable operating in dynamic or ambiguous environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities.

- Experience managing treasury initiatives involving complex data flows, integrations, and cross-functional process handoffs.

- Experience supporting treasury technology implementation, bank connectivity, payment modernization, or treasury process optimization.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PfMP, Green Belt, or Lean Six Sigma.
- Exposure to Agile delivery methods.
- Experience with different forms of payment, treasury reporting and/or analytics tools.
- Experience applying data, automation, dashboarding, or AI-enabled capabilities to treasury operations while maintaining governance and control requirements.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet.
