Project Manager – AI & Agentic Capabilities
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid / 1–2 days on-site preferred)

? Role Overview
We are seeking a high-energy, politically savvy, and fiercely proactive Project Manager to drive the rollout of Agentic AI Capabilities within our Enterprise programs. Supporting our back-office digital technology org, this role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and enterprise governance.
This is not a passive “status-update” or “calendar-management” PM role. We need a mover, a shaker, and a true player-coach who brings intense personal drive, a strong sense of urgency, and the diplomatic tact required to chase down deliverables across massive, cross-functional stakeholder groups. You will report directly to the Program Senior Manager and work closely the core team (Legal, Cyber Security, Global Learning, Corporate Communications, and Platform Architecture).
?? Key Responsibilities
Drive Agentic Capability Workstreams: Own the day-to-day execution, tracking, and delivery of sub-workstreams focused on enabling internal AI agents and assistants.
Be the “Chaser”: Actively eliminate roadblocks. Do not wait for updates to come to you; proactively chase down deliverables across security, legal, and engineering teams to ensure project velocity.
Coordinate Cross-Functional Teams: Facilitate alignment and maintain clear documentation for a 20+ person core team comprising Legal, CDR (Cyber Defense), Platform Engineering, and Change Management.
Build Governance & Guardrails: Help manage the project framework for AI agent monitoring, user access control, security risk mitigation, and data source integration mapping.
Act as Player and Coach: Be willing to roll up your sleeves to map processes, write documentation, or coordinate directly with end-users rather than just managing a project plan from afar.
? Target Profile & Qualifications
Must-Have Core Attributes (Non-Negotiable)
High Proactivity & Urgency: An innate, self-starting nature. You naturally anticipate needs, manage up, and adjust your speed to match a high-velocity, aggressive program rollout.
Diplomatic Influence: Exceptional communication and political skills. The ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and navigate complex enterprise dynamics calmly and professionally.
Structured Thinker: A background in structured PMO environments, with a proven ability to bring order to highly ambiguous, rapidly evolving tech landscapes.
Technical & Professional Experience
Enterprise Tech Project Management: 5+ years of experience managing complex IT/technology projects within a large-scale enterprise environment.
AI/Automation Familiarity: A solid conceptual understanding of Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, RPA, or automated workflow tools. Deep engineering expertise is not required, but you must be able to quickly grasp the concepts of “agents,” system integrations, and security guardrails.
Agile/Hybrid Delivery: Experience keeping cross-functional teams aligned using modern project management software, timelines, and execution frameworks.
Nice-to-Have
Experience supporting corporate “back-office” technology initiatives (HR, Finance, Legal, or Procurement tooling).
Prior experience working in highly regulated industries or matrixed enterprise environments.
