We are currently seeking a Director of Client Partnerships to join our team in Chicago, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall success of a strategic enterprise client, serving as the primary relationship lead while managing day-to-day delivery and account operations across technology, data, engineering, marketing, operations, and related functions.
You will operate in a high-growth, collaborative environment, partnering closely with recruiters and internal leadership to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality talent while identifying opportunities to expand into new teams, initiatives, and service offerings within the account. This role works closely with the CEO, President, and recruiting leadership to drive long-term client satisfaction and organic account growth.
Who You Are
- Proven experience in staffing and/or executive search, with a strong background in enterprise account management, client partnerships, or solutions-based selling
- Demonstrated ability to own and grow a complex client account, balancing delivery excellence with thoughtful expansion
- Relationship-driven professional who builds trust at multiple levels, from hiring managers to senior and executive stakeholders
- Strategic, organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence, problem-solve, and lead with professionalism
- Highly accountable, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Collaborative leader who partners effectively with recruiting, delivery, and internal leadership teams
What You’ll Do
- Own the overall success of a strategic enterprise client, serving as the primary point of contact and relationship lead
- Manage day-to-day delivery and account operations, ensuring client expectations, hiring goals, and service levels are consistently met
- Partner closely with recruiting teams to align on workforce needs, job profiling, candidate strategy, and delivery execution
- Build deep relationships with hiring managers, program leaders, and stakeholders across multiple teams within the account
- Identify and develop organic expansion opportunities including new teams, initiatives, technologies, or service offerings
- Provide clients with industry insight, market intelligence, and workforce strategy recommendations
- Proactively identify risks or challenges, lead escalations when needed, and drive solutions to resolution
- Coordinate and “quarterback” internal resources to ensure seamless execution and a high-quality client experience
- Participate in client meetings, onsite visits, lunches, dinners, and events to strengthen partnerships and deepen engagement
- Maintain accountability for end-to-end delivery, client satisfaction, and account growth
Work Schedule & Details:
- Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid (onsite 1-2 days per week at client site).
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (CST).
- Travel: Limited (5–10%); reimbursed when applicable
- Compensation: Base + Commission/Bonus
- Base Salary $100,000 – $120,000
- Additional Compensation: Performance-based commission/bonus (uncapped)
