Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented IT Deployment & PC Migration Technician to join our infrastructure support team. In this role, you will be responsible for the physical installation, removal, inventory management, and automated imaging of PC and mobile equipment.
Because this position operates directly within airport terminals and on/around aircraft, the ideal candidate must be highly safety-conscious, capable of working independently, and flexible with a dynamic day/night shift schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Deployment & Imaging: Execute automated PC imaging, configuration, and data migration using SCCM and Workspace One in a Windows 10 environment.
Hardware Setup & Logistics: Install, remove, and physically move PC equipment, peripherals, and mobile devices (iOS/Android) to and from various deployment sites.
Technical Configuration: Configure Microsoft Outlook profiles, data migrations, and network settings (IP Configuration).
Inventory & Tracking: Maintain accurate inventory records of all asset movements and equipment statuses.
Compliance & Safety: Strictly adhere to established operational processes that support compliance with TSA, local airport authorities, and airline regulations.
Field Operations: Safely operate company vehicles around airport facilities using defensive driving techniques.
Role Requirements & Qualifications
Technical & Professional Experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on PC migration and hardware deployment experience.
Operating Systems: Proficient with Windows 10 and mobile platforms (iOS and Android).
Tools: Direct experience with automated imaging and deployment tools (SCCM, Workspace One).
Networking & Apps: Solid understanding of IP configuration, data migration workflows, and standard Microsoft Office/Outlook setup.
Physical & Compliance Requirements
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy IT and computer equipment across expansive airport terminals.
Security Clearance: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check required to secure a SIDA Badge.
Licensing: Possess a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Language: Must be fully fluent in English (reading, writing legibly, and speaking).
Schedule & Flexibility
Availability: Ability to work all assigned days and shifts (including standard days, nights, weekends, and holidays).
Travel: Flexibility to adapt to changing work hours and travel schedules as project deployment needs dictate.
