Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, hands-on Program Manager to lead a high-visibility, customer-facing accessibility technology initiative. This role is responsible for orchestrating a large, complex program consisting of 15+ parallel technology workstreams, integrating application and infrastructure efforts into a single, cohesive delivery plan.
The ideal candidate is an independent operator with deep experience in enterprise technology environments, strong executive presence, and the ability to bridge technical, business, and operational perspectives. This role requires proactive risk management, disciplined delivery oversight, and clear communication to ensure alignment, transparency, and predictable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and integrate multiple concurrent technology workstreams into a unified program plan.
Own end-to-end program delivery, including scope, timeline, dependencies, risks, and milestones.
Coordinate cross-functional teams, including application, infrastructure, operations, and external vendors.
Translate complex technical concepts into clear, executive-level communication.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
Maintain integrated program artifacts, including delivery plans, RAID logs, dependency maps, and decision documentation.
Facilitate executive governance forums, steering committees, and status reviews.
Challenge assumptions, surface delivery risks early, and prevent late-stage surprises.
Ensure alignment between business objectives, customer experience goals, and technology delivery.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Senior Program Manager or Program Manager leading large-scale, cross-functional technology initiatives.
5+ years of overall experience in application development and enterprise technology delivery environments.
Demonstrated experience managing complex programs with 15+ parallel workstreams involving multiple teams, project managers, and vendors.
Strong understanding of modern technology delivery concepts, including:
Application platforms
Infrastructure dependencies
Integration patterns
DevOps principles
Standard SDLC methodologies
Ability to review and challenge architecture and dependency models to identify delivery risk (solution design not required).
Proven experience engaging and presenting to senior leadership, including VP- and executive-level stakeholders.
