Project Overview
We are seeking a Program Manager with a management consulting background to support a large-scale, high-visibility enterprise program. This individual will partner with leadership to manage deliverables, streamline communication, and drive strategic alignment across multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate possesses the polish and presence of a top-tier consultant, capable of translating complex technical information into clear, executive-ready insights and presentations.
This role requires exceptional organization, communication, and critical thinking skills — someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes initiative, and approaches challenges with curiosity and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, synthesizing program progress, risks, and dependencies into actionable updates.
Develop polished executive-level PowerPoint presentations, dashboards, and written summaries to communicate key outcomes and next steps.
Translate technical specifications, data, and system updates into concise, meaningful business insights.
Partner with program and project teams to manage documentation, write-ups, and deliverables — over $50M in active work across multiple initiatives.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring alignment between technology and business stakeholders.
Identify process improvement opportunities, challenge existing approaches, and provide innovative recommendations.
Support governance, reporting, and leadership updates to ensure consistent, transparent communication.
Anticipate program needs, proactively resolve issues, and maintain momentum across concurrent deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably within consulting or enterprise transformation environments.
Background in management consulting (McKinsey, Deloitte, Accenture, or similar) or equivalent experience demonstrating similar polish and analytical rigor.
Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills; expert in PowerPoint and business storytelling.
Ability to transform complex technical data into clear, compelling narratives for senior audiences.
Strong leadership presence, professionalism, and confidence interacting with executives.
Highly organized with strong analytical, writing, and documentation skills.
“Curious” and proactive mindset — asks questions, challenges assumptions, and drives progress independently.
Experience managing large-scale programs involving technical and business integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field required; MBA preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Experience within Digital Technology (DT) or Airline/Aviation industries.
Familiarity with STC (Systems Technology & Communications) environments.
Prior work in enterprise transformation or platform modernization programs.
Work Schedule & Details
Location: Chicago, IL – Remote (on-site as needed for leadership meetings)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST
